The formula of area of rectangle is length x width
Example:
1. Find the area of rectangle, with 4cm length and 5 cm width.
Answer:
Area of rectangle = length x width
= 4 x 5
= 20 cm square.
2. Find the area of rectangle, with 10cm length and 15 cm width.
Answer:
Area of rectangle = length x width
= 10 x 15
= 150 cm square.
3. Find the area of rectangle, with 9 cm length and 8 cm width.
Answer:
Area of rectangle = length x width
= 9 x 8
= 72 cm square.
4. Find the area of rectangle, with 19cm length and 20 cm width.
Answer:
Area of rectangle = length x width
= 19 x 20
= 380 cm square.
5. Find the area of rectangle, with 40cm length and 50 cm width.
Answer:
Area of rectangle = length x width
= 40 x 50
= 2000 cm square.
6. Given that the area of rectangle is 380 cm square and its width is 20, find its length.
Answer:
Area of rectangle = length x width
380 = L x 20
380/20 = L

7. Given that the area of rectangle is 2000 cm square and its width is 50, find its length.
Answer:
